Delete Your Account

Dayag — PDF & document reader, by Humfurie

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Delete from inside the app (recommended)

You can delete your account and its data directly in Dayag — no email or waiting required:

  1. Open the Dayag app.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. In the Account section, tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm in the dialog. You may be asked to sign in again to verify it's you. Your account and associated data are deleted immediately.

Delete by email (alternative)

If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from the email address you signed in with, with the subject "Dayag account deletion request". We verify the request comes from your account address and delete your data within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account (Google account linkage / Firebase Authentication record).
  • Your profile record: name, email address, and ad-free status.
  • Any account-linked entitlement (such as an admin-granted ad-free flag).

In-app deletion removes this data right away. Email requests are completed within 30 days.

What is kept

  • Your documents are never collected. PDFs and other files you open stay on your device and are never uploaded.
  • On-device data (reading position, annotations, bookmarks, caches) lives only on your phone — uninstalling the app removes it.
  • Purchase records held by Google Play (e.g. "Remove ads") are governed by Google's data retention, not ours.
  • Anonymized diagnostics and crash logs may be retained for up to 90 days for stability monitoring; these are not tied to your account after deletion.
