Dayag is an offline-first document reader. We do not require an account, and the documents you read stay on your device.
What we collect
Dayag uses Google Firebase Analytics and Google Firebase Crashlytics, which automatically collect a limited set of technical data to help us understand usage and diagnose crashes:
- Crash reports: stack traces, device model, OS version, and the state of the app at the time of a crash. No document contents are transmitted.
- Anonymized usage events: which screens are opened, an anonymized device identifier, system language, and country derived from IP address (not stored). Google's standard Analytics defaults apply.
We do not collect:
- The contents of any document you open.
- Your reading position, bookmarks, or annotations (these stay on your device).
- Your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.
- Precise location data.
How we use it
Crash and usage data is used only to improve the app. We do not sell, share, or use this data for advertising.
Third parties
- Google Firebase, see https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy for Google's handling of the data above.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
